African Textiles: Lecture

 

The diverse textile traditions found on the African Continent are presented in this workshop.  Jamie uses slides, woven examples, and other visual aids to discuss how communication is used through symbols.

 

This program can be set up as a 45-minute lecture/demonstration or as a residency lasting 2-3 days.

Fees: $110 for 1 workshop; $95 each, for 2 or more workshops on the same day / The break between workshops must not exceed 90 minutes to receive the reduced rate.
