The Aesop Players



This program addresses core curriculum literacy standards while reinforcing popular character education goals. The Aesop Players bring his stories to life with voice, body, imagination, and lots of help from the audience. After each story the students identify characters, settings, and major plot points while comparing the performance to other versions of the stories they may have heard. The morals of the stories are tied to character traits including respect, perseverance, honesty, responsibility, and citizenship.

Fees: $427 for 1 performance; $638 for 2 or more performances on the same day / The break between performances must not exceed 90 minutes to receive the reduced rate.

Requirements: Large, open space, gym or auditorium preferred; space should be available 30 minutes before performance for set-up and 30 minutes after performance for break-down.
