During this workshop, students will learn about and create their own Galimoto, a toy made by children of Africa from found objects. They will use their own imaginations to create and gain a greater appreciation and knowledge of children in Africa.

Grade Levels: PreK,K,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12

Fees: $110 for 1 workshop; 95 each, for 2 or more workshops on the same day; Materials Fee: $3.50 per student / The break between workshops must not exceed 90 minutes to receive the reduced rate.

Teachers' Guide: Galimotos

Requirements: 2 large tables for artist to set up on; work tables or desks for students. Artist needs 15-20 minutes to set up supplies for the workshop. If two or more workshops are scheduled, students need to come to the room where the artist is. Teachers must be present at all times during workshops.
