Giving Tree (The)

Moving MattersKC - Harlan Brownlee

This workshop is available in person or virtually SYNCHRONOUS (live).

Using Shel Silverstein's book The Giving Tree, students interpret the words and images of the story into movement phrases. They explore the similarities between how authors and choreographers create their work. They learn that while authors use words and choreographers use movement, both create images that communicate a message.
