Kansas Cultural History - workshop

 

This workshop offers an in-depth study of the topics covered in the Kansas Cultural History performance. Rebecca Dempsey pulls songs and stories from the group performance to lead students in the exploration of some of Kansas' history. Students wear hats and pantomime characters, play games, read cards, and sing songs while Rebecca tells the stories.

Fees: $110 for 1 workshop; $95 each, for 2 or more workshops on the same day / The break between workshops must not exceed 90 minutes to receive the reduced rate.

Requirements: Enclosed classroom or multi-purpose space; open space large enough for children to sit in a circle on the floor; long space across the front of the room for display materials; desk or table for display materials; one chair; all workshops in same room
