The Native American flute is a harmonic instrument. TerryLee Whetstone, an internationally renowned musician and teaching artist, believes that the melody created with the flute creates calm and a sense of well-being.
TerryLee’s performance introduces students to the Native American flute and its place in American Indian culture. He explains the history of the instrument based on Cherokee traditions and beliefs.
