Navajo Weaving & Design


 A lecture with slides including a brief history of rug and tapestry weaving, including sources of the designs found in early American rugs begins the residency.  Students will work on more complex projects, including tapestry weaving.

Grade Levels: 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12

Fees: $110 for 1 workshop; $95 each, for 2 or more workshops on the same day + $15 materials fee per class; A residency requires one $110 planning meetin / The break between performances must not exceed 90 minutes to receive the reduced rate.

Maximum Audience Size: 30 students

Availability: Available after 10am
