Printmaking: Linoleum Block Printing 3-5 Day Residency

This workshop will introduce students to an essential form of relief printing. Concepts reinforced are composition, line, form, graphic, light and dark, objective, non-objective, ink, brayer, palette, registration, border, proof, artists proof, monoprint, and edition. Students draw and cut their images on the linoleum block. The final product is a print and/or an edition of prints. This residency requires a planning meeting in advance.

Grade Levels: 6,7,8,9,10,11,12

Fees: $110 single, $95 each for 2 or more on the same day;A residency requires one $110 planning meeting; Materials Fee: $7.00 per student / The break between workshops must not exceed 90 minutes to receive the reduced rate. Title 1 Schools may qualify for funding assistance.

Availability: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
