Asian Textile Workshop
Appreciating Asian cultures and their long history of weaving, dyeing, and fabric design, fiber artist Jamie Root introduces students to the non-woven textile, felt, and discusses the wide range of uses of this technique in Asian culture. Students will experience the wet felt-making of Tibetan culture by creating a coaster-sized piece of felt.

Fees: $110 single, $95 each for 2 or more on the same day; Materials fee: $2.50 per student / The break between workshops must not exceed 90 minutes to receive the reduced rate. Title 1 Schools may qualify for funding assistance.
