Move it! Get Healthy is designed to use creative movement to introduce the needs (elements) of a healthy body.  This high-energy workshop teaches the importance of increasing movement and exercise, reducing screen time (television/computer), and  following nutritional guidelines to help maintain healthy minds and bodies. Students will gain kinesthetic understanding of how food fuels your body’s energy with “Go, Slow, and Whoa,” “Energy Echo,” and other movement activities.  Kim Shope’s fun and imaginative workshop provides students with the tools to make healthier choices.
