Peter Rabbit, Mopsy, Flopsy, Mr. McGregor, Three Billy Goats, The Troll, and a school of fishies all come to life in this musical performance for Pre-K through 3rd graders on tour to your school.

In 2020 the Theatre for Young America touring shows for Pre-K through 3rd grade will be TRIPLE PLAY ONE or TRIPLE PLAY TWO or DOWN ON THE FARM. These musical plays have toured all the Kansas City, Missouri, School District elementary schools for the last several years. The musical plays feature well known classic stories in a musical setting, emphasizing reading readiness and interest in children's literature and an introduction to theatre art.

TRIPLE PLAY TWO is a lively musical play is based on three stories all founded on the number three: Peter Rabbit and his Three Sisters, Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail; The Three Billy Goats Gruff; and The Three Little Fishies. With original music by Rita Lovitt and  Molly Jessup, the play introduces young students to these stories and encourages them to read the original literature for themselves. In post-performance discussion the actors introduce themselves, answer questions and call attention to the books and songs on which the play is based.
